Striking is the only weapon employees/the public have to change things and make their voices heard by big industry and government. However, in a profession like nursing they find it hard to strike because of the moral implications.

Not only have they worked tirelessly through covid saving countless lives but they work 12 hour shifts day and night, suffered the humiliation of receiving a 3% pay rise in 2022 and are suffering from staff shortages across the country, putting even more pressure on.

In any other industry this would be enough of a justification to strike. Which is why we’re calling on every other industry to strike on behalf of them.

This campaign I created pro-actively before being told it was actually illegal by a parliamentary MP. But I like it so I welcome the prison time.
